Kidsports Coaches Go to Court for Fistfight at Basketball Game

Two local men,  Jeffery Cox, 34, and Michael Caley, 24, are both in court today to face charges that stem from a fist-fight the two men were involved with at a Kidsports basketball game last weekend.

Caley and Cox began arguing after Caley’s son was tripped on the court and he confronted Cox on the foul. The two men came to blows after a yelling match erupted in front of a gymnasium full of parents and athletes.

The two men face disorderly conduct charges, and the coach, Cox, was also charged with physical harassment. Both were suspended from Kidsports’ activities.
