Federal authorities are stepping up their search for an unknown man who was captured on surveillance video taking photographs of the Lookout Point Dam in the middle of the night.

Worker still awaits cash for injury
In December, Lane County construction worker Danny Davis won a $1.9 million lawsuit over injuries he suffered in 2007, when he fell through an unmarked hole in the third floor of a downtown Eugene construction site. But Davis, now 53, has not received a dime of that judgment.

Changing the speed limit
Oregon is the only state west of the Mississippi with a highway speed limit less than 70 miles per hour. Senator Jason Atkinson wants to increase speed limits along Oregon’s highways and interstates to 75 miles per hour for most drivers and to 60 miles per hour for commercial vehicles.
