Mobile Home Fire Leaves Two People Homeless

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — A fire ripped through a mobile home in Springfield, leaving two people homeless.

 

It happened around 12:30 Wednesday morning off 12th and Main near downtown.

 

Firefighters say the home was fully engulfed in flames by the time they arrived on scene.

 

Springfield Police say one person was taken to the hospital with minor burns on their feet.

 

The Red Cross is working to find the family a place to stay.

 

The cause is under investigation.
