Tim Chuey Weather:

Highs: 77-85  Lows: 42-50 Chance of Rain: slight

More sunshine for a couple of days, then clouds start to gather and we’ll have a slight chance of the wet weather returning.

An upper level trough of low pressure has moved in bringing the chance of rain with it. A frontal system fell apart as it pushed through the Pacific Northwest but it looks like most of the precipitation will be concentrated to our North. A break with a high pressure ridge building for the middle of the week and yet another frontal system will come in late in the week to return at least the chance of precipitation again.

Forecast for the Southern and lower Mid Willamette Valley including Eugene-Springfield and Albany-Corvallis: Mostly cloudy with areas of patchy fog this AM, mostly sunny this   afternoon, mostly clear tonight, mostly sunny Thursday, partly cloudy in the evening, mostly cloudy Thursday night, a mix of clouds and sun Friday AM, mostly cloudy with a  slight (20%) chance of rain in the afternoon and evening, then a slight (20%) chance of showers late Friday night highs 77-85 cooling to near 72 Friday lows 42-50. A mix of clouds and sun Saturday AM, mostly cloudy with a slight (20%) chance of  showers Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, mostly cloudy Sunday AM, a mix of clouds and sun with a slight (20%) chance of showers Sunday afternoon, mostly cloudy with a slight (20%) chance of showers Sunday evening, a (30%) chance of rain late Sunday night and Monday, a (40%) chance of rain Monday night, then a good (50%) chance of rain Tuesday highs 66-70 lows 47-52. (seasonal averages high 73 low 45)

Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
