Before you head down to Phoenix, AZ to watch the No. 4 Oregon Ducks square off with the No. 5 Kansas State Wildcats on Thursday January 3rd, plan your trip accordingly.
Figure out what you want to visit during your trip, what you want to see and fun events. While this list isn’t a suggestion, here are some fun events leading up to the game to consider attending.
There will be countless parties and events happening around the city to welcome in the new year. Bring in the 2013 year in style, in a big new city.
Parties include the following:
“Kids in kindergarten through Grade 8 can explore the Phoenix Zoo’s many trails during their winter break. A different trail is featured each day along with games, activities and animal encounters while kids learn about the zoo’s animals and habitats. Sign up for a single day or the entire week. Extended “after camp” is offered until 6 p.m. Registration is available online.” – AZ Central
Take in a Suns game and get to see an NBA stadium. While it’s the 76ers and Suns, not exactly the most exciting matchup, it’s still a chance to take in a new venue and see how Oregon’s Matt Knight Arena stands up.
You can order tickets on StubHub, TicketCity or another online site. Of course, you can also purchase tickets at the stadium itself. You should be able to find good seats for less than $50 per. Shop around.
It’s finally game day! Assuming you’d want to spend the majority of your day tailgating and spending time at the game site, walk around and enjoy the festivities. Glendale will be packed, especially around the stadium.
Start mapping out your Fiesta Bowl plans before it’s too late. Order tickets in advance and arrive early. Figure that many fans will be out and about. Also, rep your Ducks!Advertise your business on Eugene Daily News!
