in Firehose/Rotator/Sports by

The University of Oregon baseball team recorded its first complete game of the season as the Ducks used an impressive effort by starter Cole Irvin to propel themselves over the visiting Washington Huskies by a score of 8-0 in the last game of the series. Scattering just four hits over the course of nine innings, Irvin’s complete game shutout also gave Oregon a sweep over Washington, forwarding the Ducks’ conference record to an impressive 8-1. They currently have three more conference wins than Oregon State, whose record in the Pac-12 stands at 5-1.
