Now everyone’s heard his or her fair share of jokes, right? There’s something intriguing about a person getting up on stage, in front of tons of people, creating comedic stories right before your eyes.
Mike Birbiglia, a standup comedian from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, is making his mark in the Eugene Community with his “Thank God For Jokes” tour produced by Steve Litman Presents. Eugene will be one of the first cities in his 2014 tour.
Here’s an attempt at a corny joke: What did the digital clock say to the grandfather clock? Look grandpa, no hands!
Okay, maybe we’ll just leave the jokes to Birbiglia. Come see him this Saturday at the historic McDonald Theatre located in Downtown Eugene. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at all Safeway TicketsWest outlets and online here TicketsWest. If the show is not sold out, tickets will also be available at the McDonald Theatre Box Office the day of the show.
The show will be compacted of fun, excitement, and remarkable “laughing so hard your stomach will hurt” moments. He’ll literally have you “lol-ing” all night long.
