The Oregon Ducks are an elite team and have been for several years and entering the 2014 regular season are slated to start the season at 7/1 behind only Alabama and Florida State to win the first ever National Championship by way of the College Football Playoff. The folks at the Bovada Online Sportsbook also break down the numbers by conference and take a look at NFL Odds and former Oregon Ducks Coach Chip Kelly will like what Bovada has to say. More on Philly in a few, first more on the college game.

Bovada breaks down the Pac-12 Conference in two ways, by division and by who will take the Pac-12 Championship. The Oregon Ducks should take the North Division with 1/2 odds. Next closest is rival Stanford at 3/1 and Washington at 6/1. In the South Divison UCLA is set at 3/2 followed by USC right on their heels at 2/1 with Arizona State also at 2/1. If you are a Colorado or Cal fan you can make some money if your team wins their respective Division at 50/1. The odds get even better with winning the Pac-12 Championship with the Golden Bears and Buffaloes going off at 200/1.

Mark Helfrich begins his first season as head coach of the Ducks.

When it comes to the Pac-12 Championship entering the season the Oregon Ducks are slated at 11/10 and are the favorite followed by UCLA in the South Division at 3/1. The Oregon State Beavers have a chance, albeit slim at 33/1 and are tied with Washington State. The only teams behind them are Colorado and California. The Stanford Cardinal are a ways back for a National Title in 2015 with 33/1 odds. The breakdown also looks at other Conferences including the Big Ten where Michigan State, who will visit Autzen Stadium in September will battle it out with several in conference teams.

The Spartans start the season set at 13/5 behind Ohio State at 2/5 for the Big Ten East Division. Michigan State’s odds at a National Championship are 25/1 tied with another team from the Pac-12, USC. Bovada also takes a look at the NFL and has the Philadelphia Eagles in a pretty good place entering the season. In breaking down the NFC East Chip Kelly’s squad is at a +135, ahead of New York(+300), Dallas(+350), and Washington(+400).  When it comes to the NFC Championship last season the Philadelphia Eagles lost a heart breaker to the New Orleans Saints at Lincoln Financial Field.

Both teams are set for the 2014 season and will look to get back to the title game. Bovada gives Philly 14/1 odds at winning the NFC Conference Championship. The Saints are more highly favored at 15/2 and at the top of the list, to no surprise the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers respectively. Pete Carroll’s team comes in at 17/4 followed by the 49ers at 9/2.

Oregon v California

One team that picked up a really good quarterback, Minnesota, drafted Teddy Bridgewater have the lowest chance at the NFC Conference Title at 40/1 to start the season. In the AFC the Denver Broncos lead the charge at 9/4 followed by New England and Indianapolis. The last team in the AFC at 100/1 is the Jacksonville Jaguars.
