Portland OR – On Sunday August 17, 2014, at 12:37 a.m., Central Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to Southwest 3rd Avenue and Ash Street on the report of a shooting.
Multiple officers responded to the area and located three gunshot victims. Both victims were transported to a Portland hospital. All of the victim’s injuries have been described as life-threatening.
Witnesses told police that there was a large group fighting prior to the shooting.
Preliminary information indicates the shooting is gang-related.
Gang Enforcement Team investigators and Criminalists from the Forensic Evidence Division are responding to conduct an investigation.

No further information updates are expected until later Sunday morning.
