Former Oregon guard Dominic Artis enrolls at junior college

According to Brad Winton of JuCoRecruiting.com, former Oregon guard Dominic Artis will be attending the 2014-2015 school year at Diablo Valley College. The junior college is located in the Bay Area in California where Artis is originally from.

While Artis will be enrolled at the school and will be practicing with their team, he will not be playing a single game. Artis will essentially be redshirting the 2014-2015 season and until he earns an associate’s degree from Diablo Valley, he will not be able to transfer to another Division I school for the 2015-2016 season.

However, if Artis does indeed finish the school year with no complications, the once top 100 prospect will have a legitimate shot at making a return by keeping his two remaining seasons of eligibility alive.

Following their alleged sexual assault case and dismissal from the Ducks, Artis, Brandon Austin and Damyean Dotson have done what they can to keep their careers alive. Austin will play at Northwest Florida College this year, while Dotson continues his search for another school.
