Motor Home Fire Investigation

EUGENE, Ore.– Eugene-Springfield firefighters responded to a motor home fire in Eugene. It happened on the 3000 block of Firwood Way at 5:10am Friday.

Flames engulfed the motor home and spread to surrounding trees, vegetation, and a fence. Fortunately, firefighters knocked it out before flames could spread to nearby homes.

The fire department says the motor home was not occupied at the time of the fire. Eugene police have now taken over the investigation. A fire marshal is trying to determine the cause of the fire.
