TALENT, Ore. — A suspect is in custody in a case of burglary at the Green Valley Wellness dispensary, which was reported early Sunday morning.
Law enforcement officers responded to the scene around 2:23 a.m. to to find shattered exterior glass on the front side of the business. Officers reportedly saw a suspect inside the building putting marijuana products out of a broken window.
Police say the suspect fled on foot, but officers caught up to him and apprehended him across the road from the scene of the crime. The suspect, Saul Garcia-Cruz, was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on charges of burglary and theft.
Police report extensive damage to the inside of the business, including a shattered window and display cases.
