Junction City Jail Inmate Escapes

12-21 INMATE ESCAPE 1EUGENE, Ore. — Police say on Sunday around 3:30 p.m. an inmate in the custody of Junction City Municipal Jail escaped from custody while being treated for a medical condition at the Eugene Urgent Care clinic at 1800 Coburg Road in Eugene.

The inmate’s name is Katherine May Berg, born October 8, 1981.  She is described as 5’2” tall, weighs approximately 125 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.  She was last seen wearing green and white striped jail clothes with “Junction City Jail” on the back.

Berg left from an exam room and the officer who accompanied her to the clinic was notified approximately 25 minutes after she left by clinic staff that she had left out the west door.
