Student Carjacked at Knifepoint

Eugene PoliceEUGENE, Ore. — Police are investigating a reported carjacking in Eugene.

The Eugene Police Department says they want the public to be on the lookout for the stolen car and the suspect. Investigators say the carjacking happened around 10:18 a.m. Tuesday near East 15th Avenue and Mill Street.

They say a man armed with a knife robbed a college student of his car, then drove away. Police say the suspect is a black male, in his late 20s, 5’11” tall, 170 pounds little to no hair, and last seen wearing a bright red rain jacket and black pants. Detectives say the car then stopped a few blocks away and picked up another man.

The stolen car is a black, two-door Honda with Oregon license plate number ZQP 820. If you see the vehicle, you’re asked to call 9-1-1.
