Dozens Compete in Pinball Tournament

Still0228_00002EUGENE, Ore. — Pinball professionals playing for points at a Eugene arcade.

Organizers at Blairally Arcade are expecting around 30 to 50 pinball players to square off.

The tournament is open to anyone, so professionals are playing right alongside amateurs.  Organizers say the event draws people from all over Oregon and beyond.

“I would say Oregon, Idaho, Washington event. The Northwest Open is supposed to be just that. A Northwest scenario, but it’s an open. You can come from New Jersey if you want. We’re just not that big yet,” said Chad Boutin.

Winners will take home cash prizes. The competition is expected to go until about 10:00 Saturday.
