Overturned Semi Carrying Sheep Shuts Down Road

Lebanon, Ore. – A crash in front of the Lebanon Justice Center, reroutes traffic but isn’t slowing down evening Halloween festivities. Lebanon fire says a semi-truck overturned at 2nd and Tangent streets at 12:30 p.m.

The truck was carrying an unknown number of sheep.

The driver of the truck of the truck wasn’t injured. He was able to unload the sheep and transfer them to another trailer.

Unfortunately, an undetermined number of sheep were killed when the truck overturned.

Tangent street remains closed while the accident is cleared. Closures are expected to last until 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Lebanon Police Department is investigating the crash.
