SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Springfield Police says it needs help trying to understand what happened inside a Glenwood-area hotel, Monday.
SPD say the assault call came in at about 1:30 p.m. from a room inside the Candlewood Suites on Franklin Boulevard.
Upon arrival, investigators found several people, but no one willing to help. Police learned a man was being treated at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center RiverBend. They say he was also uncooperative, but was injured.
Police also found a bullet hole inside the room, but the victim wasn’t shot.
The investigation is ongoing.
