EUGENE, Ore. – An overturned semi-truck brought traffic to a standstill on Monday on a busy Eugene highway.
The truck was carrying a flatbed trailer loaded with cement barriers when it crashed just east of Coburg Road.
The wreck happened just after 2:30 p.m. near the Coburg Road on-ramp.
According to police, witnesses said the driver was coming down the slope eastbound when the trailer began fishtailing from lane to lane.
Police say no other cars were involved in the crash.
The driver was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
