EUGENE, Ore. – Fire crews battled a house fire in North Eugene Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of Grand Cayman Drive.
The blaze started in the garage and spread to a car in the driveway and charred the front of the house.
Officials said the family that lives there got out of the house safe.
The fire was contained to the one house.
Neighbors said they heard loud noises coming from the fire, but officials said there were no unusual explosions.
