EUGENE, Ore. – A driver in a stolen car allegedly rolled and crashed into another vehicle in Eugene.
Police said they were called to a rollover crash off River Road and Oakleigh Lane around 6:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Officers said the at-fault driver was traveling southbound on River Road in what turned out to be an unreported stolen 2010 Toyota Camry.
The same driver then reportedly drove across both lanes of traffic, struck a tree, and then slammed into another car traveling northbound.
Police said the driver was able to climb out of the car, but was transported to Riverbend Hospital. The northbound driver was fortunately not injured.
Police also reported stolen property in the car. The investigation is ongoing.
