EUGENE, Ore. — It’s a big weekend for Harry Potter fans, a brand new installment in the fantasy series hit store shelves worldwide.
It’s been almost ten years since the final book JK Rowling wrote for the franchise was released. The new one, “Harry Potter and The Cursed Child,” is not a novel. It’s the script of a stage production, currently running in London.
The Barnes & Noble in Eugene said the book has been flying off its shelves.
Based on pre-order sales, “Harry Potter and The Cursed Child” could become the top selling book of 2016 for both Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
