EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene Civic Alliance is having a bike raffle fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Capella Market in Eugene.
Eugene Civic Alliance will raffle off a Yuba Boda Boda Cargo Cruiser bike, and is having the event in partnership with Arriving by Bike and Capella Market. The event will include food samples from Capella Market, ice cream for purchase, music, and the drawing of the raffle winner. All proceeds from the event will benefit Eugene Civic Alliance and the Civic Park project.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased at Capella Market, 2489 Willamette St., and Arriving by Bike, 2705 Willamette St., or online at eugenecivicalliance.org. They will also be available at the event while supplies last. Tickets are $5 each or eight for $20.
All proceeds from the bike raffle will support Eugene Civic Alliance plans for Civic Park. The facility will be home to a Kidsports fieldhouse, multi-sport outdoor turf field, and 2,000+ seat stadium. Eugene Civic Alliance is currently working with Robertson/Sherwood Architecture pc, Skylab Architecture and Chambers Construction to finalize the design for the facility.
Eugene Civic Alliance, founded in 2014, is a nonprofit corporation established to redevelop the historic Civic Stadium property into an inclusive, long-term, self-sustaining community sports and entertainment venue, operated primarily to benefit children of the community. Eugene Civic Alliance owns the site.
