GLADSTONE, Ore. – Authorities said they have made one of the largest meth busts on record in Clackamas County.
The Clackamas County Interagency Task Force and Portland Police Bureau Drugs and Vice Division seized about 63 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $500,000.
The drug bust happened on October 12 at the River Run Apartments in Gladstone. Authorities said they also seized $39,000 in cash and two pistols.
Police said Raul Villenueva-Sosa and Jose Nataren-Duarte were arrested for operating a drug trafficking organization out of three apartments in the complex.
They are both facing two counts of possession and distribution of a controlled substance.
Both are being held on $1 million bail at the Clackamas County Jail.
