Woman Accused of Leading Police on High Speed Chase

COQUILLE, Ore. – A woman faces several charges after allegedly leading police on a high speed chase.

Police said they tried to pull over Kristina Perkins, 45, for going 75 miles per hour in a 55 mile an hour zone but she sped off. Police said she reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.

They said when Perkins reached milepost 24, she spun 360 degrees and continued driving. They said she finally stopped near milepost 42.

Police said her blood alcohol content was .10 at the jail.

Perkins was lodged into the Coos County Jail. She is facing charges of DUII, eluding, reckless driving, and reckless endangering.
