Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish and Wildlife Troopers are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a doe being illegally shot in the Douglas County.
On June 17, 2020 OSP Fish and Wildlife Troopers received information two subjects had skinned a deer in a garage in Myrtle Creek. They were able to identify the man and woman involved from a photo but the doe was moved prior to troopers arriving. The suspects are uncooperative and it is believed they dumped the skinned doe in the Myrtle Creek area along with a bloody blue tarp.
Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact OSP Sergeant Katzenstein through the Turn in Poachers (TIP) hotline at 1-800-452-7888 or *OSP (mobile).
