Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Troopers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the person in the attached photo.

Troopers believe the person has information regarding fish and wildlife crime(s) in the Canyonville area in March 2020.

Katherine Williams-Dunning, Daughter Of Hank Williams Jr, Killed In Car Crash In Tennessee

Fatal Crash on Hwy 20E – Deschutes County (Photo)

On Saturday, June 14, 2020 at approximately 2:42 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy 20E at the intersection of Powell Butte Hwy. 

Preliminary investigation revealed a white Jeep Grand Cherokee,  operated by Richie Masters (34) of Bend, was  eastbound on Hwy 20E waiting to turn northbound onto Powell Butte Hwy.  A Ford Econoline van, operated by Edward Robinson (59) of Bend, was eastbound on Hwy 20E also intending to turn northbound onto Powell Butte Hwy and hit the Jeep Cherokee from behind.

Robinson sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Passengers in the Ford, Markus Mastrud (62) of Bend and Owen Leinweber (54) of Bend, were transported to the hospital with serious injuries – Amy Bell (40) of Bend was not injured. 

Masters and his two passengers Pamela Radabaugh (31) of Bend and a male juvenile were not transported by emergency personnel.

Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.

Failure to use seat belts is believed to be a factor in the injuries. 

OSP was assisted by the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, Bend Police Department, Bend Fire Department, and ODOT.

Fatal Crash Hwy 101 – Douglas County

On Saturday, June 13, 2020 at approximately 7:24 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded a two vehicle collision on Hwy 101 near milepost 208.

Preliminary Investigation indicated that a Volkswagen Rabbit, operated by Stevie Shuey (29) of Pleasanton, CA.  was northbound and crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Hyundai Genesis operated by Michael Lindsay (69) of North Bend.

Shuey was transported by Life Flight to the hospital.

Lindsay sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The passenger in the Hyundai, Erica Billingslea (33) of Coos Bay, was transported to the hospital with injuries. 

Troopers are investigating DUII by Shuey and are asking anyone who might have witnessed any poor driving to call Oregon State Police Southern Command Center at 1-800-442-2068 and leave information for Trooper Dunlap.

OSP was assisted by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Reedsport Police Department, Gardiner Fire Department, Reedsport Fire Department, Winchester Bay Fire Department, Lower Umpqua Ambulance, ODOT, and Southern Oregon Public Safety Chaplains.

Fatal Crash on Hwy 97 – Deschutes County

On Friday, June 12, 2020 at approximately 3:30 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a three vehicle collision on Hwy 97 near milepost 118.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Malibu, operated by Ann Marie Brock (59) of Redmond, was northbound on Hwy 97 preparing to turn left into a driveway.  The Malibu was struck from behind by a Nissan Rogue operated by James Rooks (73) of Crooked River Ranch.  The impact pushed the Malibu into the southbound lane and into the path of Toyota Highlander operated by Stephanie Bates (31) of Forest Grove.

Brock sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.

James Rooks and his passenger in the Nissan Rogue, Jacquelyn Rooks (76), were transported to Redmond St. Charles Medical Center with serious injuries.

Stephanie Bates and her passengers in the Toyota Highlander, David Bates (38) and a juvenile female, were transported to the Redmond St. Charles Medical with injuries. 

OSP was assisted by Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, Bend Police Department, Central Oregon Police Chaplaincy, ODOT and Redmond Fire and Rescue.
