Challengers Win Two versus Roseburg to Take First in Super Regional

As would have to be expected with this incredible Challengers team, Eugene was able to bounce back from the loser’s bracket with a two wins and a Super Regional Championship.

Challengers Lose to Roseburg, Defeat Mid-Valley Day Two of Super Regional

#6 short stop Erik Long crosses home plate in the bottom of the first with #24 left fielder Joe Schindler close behind.  Cheering them on in the foreground is #14 third baseman Garret Harpole awaiting his turn at bat.  The catcher for the Rockets is #18 Cody Chagnon.

Despite the Challengers’ loss on day two of the super regional, the double-elimination format keeps their opening for a spot in the state championship alive.

Challengers Defeat Mid-Valley Rockets in Round One of Super Regional

#13 Daniel Aranda throws a pitch in the bottom of the first.  Aranda was Mid-Valley's best player in the game, both on the mound and at bat.

The Eugene Challengers kicked-off the Super Regional Tournament 12-5 to start off the Super Regional Tournament.
