Gilbert Cellars is a winery in Yakima, Washington producing some amazing varietals. The 2014 Rosé is a blend of 58% Mourvedre and 42% Grenache, and truly represents how delicious wines from this region can be. Cheers to delicious wine!
Grenache is a varietal with its roots going all the way back to northern Spain. Luscious, fruit forward, and balanced, this grape may be a little harder to come by in Oregon but it worth the search. Try one for yourself!
It seems just like yesterday that I was writing about Memorial Weekend open houses at the wineries, and suddenly here I am, writing about the open houses for Labor Day Weekend. Summer simply flies by way too fast for me.
