A break in the major waterline in South Eugene prompted EWEB to post “Boil Water” notices on about 75 homes in South Eugene this morning. I spoke with an EWEB employee who was posting the notices in my neighborhood and was told they were working on the break, but we should not drink tap water, unless it has been properly boiled, until further notice.

Sheldon and Thurston will now play in round two on Wednesday, a day that will also see the start of the 2013 OSAA Class 5A State Baseball Playoffs that will pit North Eugene against Hermiston.
