Low Tide Drifters

This Eugene based band formed in 2007 and is an original roots-based band with songs that reflect the experiences and struggles of everyday working people.  Performing everywhere from folk festivals,  and fairs, to benefit concerts and fundraisers for human rights organizations, and labor unions,  Low Tide Drifters are influenced by socially-conscious folk-singers like Woody Guthrie and Utah Phillips.  Low Tide Drifters released their first EP “Progress and Porchlights” in 2009.   Additionally the band has released a single “A Prayer for Josseline” out which all proceeds for that single are donated to the No More Deaths, a migrant rights organization in Tucson, Arizona.
