Two Eugene residents who survived a plane crash in Wyoming are safe at home.
The couple was heading back to Oregon from the Duck game against L.S.U. on when their plane went down.
After spending nearly two months in a Colorado hospital, Jerry and Maryann Thenell returned to Eugene to the sight of Duck cheerleaders, friends and a very large family.
“It’s a testiment to the love people have for Maryann and Jerry. I think it was a wonderful homecoming for them,” said Art Thenell, Jerry’s brother.
