There is still a chance of fog and freezing fog to start off your Sunday. The chance of rain is returning and it will warm up just a bit.

cold front is moving in bringing clouds and a chance of rain, but a high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on the jet stream) will bring back the fog and freezing fog to start the workweek. An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the jet stream) will soon after return the clouds and chances for rain.

Forecast for the Southern and lower Mid Willamette Valley including Eugene-Springfield and Albany-Corvallis: Cloudy with patchy fog and a slight (20%) chance of sprinkles and light drizzle and patchy freezing fog this AM, a slight (20%) chance of afternoon showers, mostly cloudy with areas of fog and patchy freezing fog late tonight and Monday AM, a mix of clouds and sun in the afternoon, mostly cloudy with patchy evening fog, areas of fog late Monday night and Tuesday AM, a slight (20%) chance of rain in the afternoon, then mostly cloudy with a (30%) chance of rain Tuesday night highs 42-38 warming to 43 Tuesday lows 28-33. Mostly cloudy with a (30%) chance of rain Wednesday, a good (50%) chance of rain Wednesday night, cloudy with a (40%) chance of rain Thursday, mostly cloudy with a (30%) chance of rain Thursday night, a mix of clouds and sun with a  slight (20%) chance of rain Friday, then just mostly cloudy Friday night and Saturday highs 43-39 lows 34-30. (seasonal averages high 46 low 34)
