Tim Chuey Weather:

Another hot one today, but we will cool down a bit as we slide into the weekend.

High: 86
Low: 53
Forecast: Hot.

An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the brown line) will sit offshore for a short time. That, when added to a weak surface disturbance that will brush by Oregon Friday, will increase onshore airflow enough to bring some clouds and cool us down a bit for the weekend. High pressure (“arch” shape on brown line) will take over after that and will give us great weather into next week. {Note: The Jet Stream movie may not be updated so you could see a previous date first then the forecast positions. The forecast positions are still in line with what should be happening.}

Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
