CALDWELL, Idaho – The Northwest Christian University women’s cross country team finished in second place at the Coyote Twilight, hosted by The College of Idaho at Brothers Park. The race was to serve as a preview for the CCC championship, which will take place later this fall.

The #2 Yotes of COI won the event with 27 points to sweep the top three individual finishes. The Beacons, ranked #11, weren’t far behind with 48 points. Northwest Nazarene was received third place (104) followed by Corban at 113, Concordia with 132, and Northwest (Wash.) in sixth with 157 points. Oregon Tech was seventh (167) followed by Eastern Oregon (179).

Here’s How the Beacon Runners Finished:

  • Sierra Brown fourth-place finish (19:20)
  • Allison Duvenez fifth place (19:22)
  • Alyssa Harmon 10th place (19:42)
  • Shea Vallaire 13th place (19:52)
  • Emily McLean 16th place (19:56)
  • Michelle Fletcher 19th place
  • Ashley Kinney 20th place
  • Delaney McMahon 37th place
  • Heidi Gori 41st place
  • *Freshmen Natalie Kogutkiewicz and Macie Gale also ran for NCU.*

NCU will be off for two weeks before competing on October 5th at the Willamette Open in Salem.
