On Oct. 5, the first Friday of fall term, 40 UO students were arrested, cited or warned by the Eugene Police Department, primarily for party related offenses. Most were given in the west and south of campus, according to the EPD. The citations and charges were:

15 Minor in Possession of alcohol

1 Minor Misrepresenting Age

1 Allowing Minors to Consume Alcohol

1 Unruly Gathering

1 Prohibited Noise

1 Urinating in Public

1 Criminal Mischief 3

Eleven UO students were also given noise warnings.
