The UCLA Bruins have landed a verbal commitment from offensive line prospect Najee Toran, a three-star 6-foot-3, 265-pound prospect from northern Texas. However, the commitment comes with some controversy considering fellow Pac-12 member Oregon State believed they were Toran’s preferred school.
Toran used one of his official visits this weekend at UCLA and clearly has had a change of heart. And as is the case in recruiting, this verbal commitment is not binding and can be switched at any time until he signs his national letter of intent (LOI) in February.
He still holds offers from Boise State, Colorado and Houston amongst other Division 1 programs.
