Crash Near Bandon Kills 2

Police-LightsBANDON, Ore. — Oregon State Police say speed and alcohol may have been factors in a deadly crash near Bandon.

Troopers say just before 8 a.m. Sunday a car driven by 20-year-old Christopher Coney from Coos Bay was southbound on Highway 101 when it traveled off the road and hit several trees.

Coney and a passenger, 23-year-old Rachel Ragle, both died at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
