EWEB Seeks Input on Water Rate Increase

WATER FAUCETEUGENE, Ore. — Eugene Water and Electric Board is looking to raise water rates by more than 5 percent.

It’s holding its final public hearing Tuesday before the board takes a vote.

If approved, the average residential customer would pay about a $1.70 more a month.

EWEB is not asking for an increase in the electric rate.

The meeting is Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. in EWEB’s North Building, located at 500 E. Fourth Ave. in Eugene.
