Albany Police Investigate Murder

Albany OR – On 02-01-15 at about 6:55PM, Albany Police Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in Southwest Albany. Upon their arrival, Officers found the body of 64 year old Thomas Ferrero inside the home. Police and Detectives interviewed 26 year old Martin Ferrero, who was treated for minor injuries. Martin Ferrero was later lodged at the Linn County Jail on charges of Murder and Assault I. The Oregon State Police Forensics Examination team is assisting in the investigation, which is still continuing.

Cause of death has not yet been determined. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
