I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot the three regional softball games at Howe field.  Softball games have become one of my favorite sports to photograph.  The Oregon team is loaded with good player and most every position.  I like being able to shoot from several different positions around the field.  Photographers were allowed to shoot from both bull pens, centerfield bleachers, behind the plate, and from a knoll behind the fence in right field.  The knoll has become one of my favority spots.  Softball games have more action than baseball games.  The field is smaller, there are more home runs, and the pace of the game is faster.

Attached are photos from the final game of this regional which was played this Saturday afternoon.  Oregon only had to play one game each day having not lost any games.  The team should find out tomorrow if they will host the Super Regional next weekend.
