Four Displaced After Smoke Badly Damages Home

CRESWELL, Ore. – Four people were displaced Tuesday night when a fire caused significant smoke damage to a home.

 

The South Lane County Fire and Rescue responded to the fire at a home on the 700 block of Barber Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

 

Crews were training at the time and were able to respond quickly, limiting the fire to a bedroom.

 

Residents told emergency crews a candle caught some bedding on fire, but the cause remains under investigation.
