Lucas Biespiel, Benny Gilbert, Jack Maybe, Will St. John and Joseph Waya make up “King Columbia”. Their mix of folk, country, bluegrass and blues along with an edgy sound throughout and topped off with the mournful vocals make up the signature sound of this northwest band. Coming to Eugene after touring the country they bring their new CD, released April 1st. “Bad Water” is an exciting compellation of some new sounds and terrific new music.
“King Columbia” will be playing at the Growler Underground, April 16th. The show starts at 8:00 pm with our local by way of Austin, Dan Cioper opening. Dan’s original tunes and finely executed covers with his own style, makes for a perfect combination for an enjoyable event.
The Growler Underground has a new menu featuring some fantastic comfort foods, vegetarian chili; something new on the menu every day.
