OSP Seeking Public’s Assistance In Locating Hit And Run Vehicle – Marion County

On October 25, 2016 at about 5:30AM, OSP Troopers responded to the report of a multi vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near milepost 242 (north of Albany).



Preliminary information is a northbound vehicle was shining a green laser into other motorists passenger compartments. This caused a 1999 Toyota Camry to lose control and spin out. The Camry and the suspect vehicle collided and came to rest on Interstate 5. The suspect vehicle fled the scene and law enforcement are continuing their search for it.



The vehicle is described as an older Honda Civic four door, light blue in color. According to witnesses there were two occupants in the vehicle which should have driver side body damage.



OSP is asking any witnesses to his incident or persons with information on the driver of the suspect vehicle to call 503-375-3555. More information will be released as it becomes available.
