Edmonds sweeps Lane in doubleheader

Elliot Carney tossed a four-hit shutout, and Evan Hurn went 2-for-3 with three RBIs to lead Edmonds to an 11-0 victory over Lane in the first game of an NWAC baseball doubleheader on Friday at PK Park.
In the second game, Edmonds scored three runs on a pair of wild pitches and a passed ball to pull away for a 5-1 victory and the sweep.
Guthrie Morrison had the lone RBI in the second game for Edmonds. Tielar Murray tripled home Jayden Hanna for Lane’s lone run.
