Fairmount Blvd Changed to One-Way for Mother’s Day

In anticipation of heavy traffic to Hendrick’s Park on Mother’s Day, Eugene Parks and Open Space staff will be temporarily changing Fairmount Blvd. to a one-way road.

Traffic will flow west-bound from Fairmount’s intersection with Floral Hill Drive to the 2800 block of Fairmount Blvd. This will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Staff will be on-site assisting with directing traffic and parking.

Face coverings are encouraged for all park users though not required if you are fully vaccinated, unless you are in a crowded area or at a large gathering.

Parks and Open Space asks community members to be courteous to other park users. If you are not wearing a mask, be mindful that there may be others sharing the trails who are vulnerable to COVID-19 and try to maintain six feet of distance when passing.
