Hilcoff Named All-Pac-12 Second Team

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon lacrosse sophomore Hanna Hilcoff has earned Pac-12 all-conference second team honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Hilcoff is the eighth Duck to receive first- or second-team all-conference recognition since the Pac-12 established lacrosse as a conference sport in 2018.
A Jupiter, Fla., native, Hilcoff led the Ducks for the second straight season with 35 goals and 54 draw controls as a sophomore. She ranks fifth in the Pac-12 in both categories, and is the only player in the conference with at least 30 goals and 40 draw controls.
Hilcoff accounted for more than 30 percent of Oregon’s 114 total goals in 2021, finding the net multiple times in 10 of the Ducks’ 12 games. Hilcoff opened the season with seven straight multi-goal performances and had six hat tricks or better, including a six-goal performance vs. Stanford on March 22. She has scored multiple goals in 16 of 19 games to open her collegiate career.
A force on the draw as well as around the net, Hilcoff’s 54 draw controls made up nearly 45 percent of Oregon’s total draws won on the season. She grabbed five or more draw controls in each of the final five games of the season, and came up one short of her own UO single-game record with a season-high nine on April 4 vs. USC. Hilcoff also added 13 ground balls and five caused turnovers on the season.
