Oregon Asian Celebration 2021

The 36th annual Oregon Asian Celebration in the Year of the Ox celebrating strength in unity. It will be a modified event on the footprint of Saturday Market design, held on Friday nights throughout May. The celebration will feature physically-distanced vendor booths, craft demonstrations and food carts/trucks. Traditional entertainment performances and live music from fan dancing to taiko drumming will be held on the Saturday Market stage. Explore heritage exhibits, demonstrations, fine arts and crafts and other cultural touchstones from every corner of the world’s largest continent. Dozens of cultures will be represented at the festival including Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, Central Asian cultures and many more!

The event is produced by the Eugene/Springfield Asian Council, whose mission is to create opportunities that foster greater understanding of Asian and Asian American cultures by presenting special events and activities that promote friendship and harmonious relationships. All net profits from the event go toward annual college scholarships and community grants administered by the nonprofit Asian American Foundation of Oregon.
