THE WEATHER PATTERN
- An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) will be pushing a series of fronts to the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show frontal system near of approaching Oregon. The graphics for days 3-7 Wednesday through Sunday show our rain season looks like it it really has started with a cold front that moved through Tuesday. Another complex frontal system will slide through between Friday and Saturday followed with yet another front approaching the Pacific Northwest next Sunday.
Forecast for the South Willamette Valley including Eugene-Springfield:
- Partly cloudy this evening, increasing clouds to cloudy with rain late tonight (0.10 in. of rain possible),
- Mostly cloudy with AM rain, showers and a bit cooler Monday afternoon (0.50 in. of rain possible), a good (50%) chance of showers Monday night,
