MILTON-FREEWATER — Milton-Freewater police reported a car Thursday morning, June 8, struck a girl in a crosswalk.

The Milton-Freewater Dispatch Center received a call at 7:09 a.m. about a vehicle hitting a 12-year-old girl in a crosswalk at Northeast First Street and North Columbia Avenue. Milton-Freewater police reported the incident happened while the yellow safety pedestrian lights were flashing.
