MEACHAM — Construction crews begin work Tuesday, July 18, on Interstate 84 westbound from 2 miles east of Exit 216 to Meacham to replace aging asphalt.

The Oregon Department of Transportation in a press release reported asphalt along the section of the freeway is between 11 and 20 years old.
